AiR will facilitate the workshops w ith visual arts students from Hope University. The DECODE ME workshops will be held at the The Black-E from 1st - 3rd April April 2009. DECODE ME aims to engage young people through arts medium as a way of deepening the understanding of cultural differences whilst also showcasing their unity. We will produce 60 pieces of plexi-glass art works based on the theme of DNA , humans share 98% of the same DNA , we have so much in common that the remaining 2% should not be a reason for conflict or discrimination. The aim of the project is to lead to improving the young people's perception of neighbourhood , their social environment and to increase inter-communities social cohesion.
